• Survivors meet with Timorese women of Parliament in 2020

    On the 3th of September 2019, ACbit organized survivors from three Municipalities (Baucau, Covalima and Oé-cusse) to meet with the Women of Parliament in Timor-Leste (GMPT) to discuss the problems that women survivors have faced since independence was granted in 1999.

  • Talk show on RTTL Program to commemorate 16 days campaign of Activisim

    ACbit commemorated the #16days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence this year by organising a #paneldiscussion on Programação Rttl.ep featuring Ba Futuru / For the Future, Fokupers Timor, Timor-Leste Disability Association and AJAR Timor-Leste.

  • National Seminar “Improving the lives of women survivors in Timor-Leste” and Launch of PAR Report

    On the 30th Of October 2019, ACbit held a seminar with the topic “Improving the lives of women survivors in Timor-Leste” and also launched the report of Research Action Participatory that done in 2018 in 3 municipalities (Baucau, Covalima and Oé-cusse) in CNC, Balide. The objective was raised the voice of survivors to advocate for their lives situation after 20 years. This activities was supported by UN Women Asia and the Pacific and Embassy of Japan in Timor-Leste.
